She's a romance author desperate for inspiration. He's a ridiculously sexy mechanic who might just become her next book boyfriend. And their unconventional love story starts in the most unexpected place—a tire shop waiting room.

Kate Smith has a serious problem.

She's a bestselling romance novelist known for writing deliciously steamy love stories, but when it's time to finish the final book in her wildly successful Bed 'n' Breakfast series, her creativity completely disappears.

Writer's block. Every author's worst nightmare.

Desperate to find her inspiration, Kate stumbles upon the strangest solution imaginable.

A tire shop.

For reasons she can't explain, the words flow effortlessly whenever she's sitting in the waiting room of Tire Depot, surrounded by complimentary coffee, customers, and the occasional smell of rubber.

So naturally, she keeps coming back.

Even if that means sneaking inside and pretending she belongs there.

Everything is going perfectly until Miles Hudson notices the mysterious redhead who keeps slipping through the employees-only entrance.

Miles is rugged, charming, and the kind of mechanic who looks like he stepped straight out of one of Kate's romance novels.

And he's definitely curious about the quirky woman practically living in his waiting room.

Instead of exposing her little secret, Miles decides to play along.

And that's when things start getting interesting.

Their playful conversations quickly turn into flirtation, and Kate realizes she's stumbled upon something even better than a comfortable writing spot.

The perfect inspiration for her next fictional hero.

After all, what better way to write believable chemistry than to experience a little of it herself?

Suddenly, Kate has an idea.

Why not test-drive some of her steamy book scenes in real life?

With Miles.

What starts as a fun, no-strings-attached arrangement quickly becomes something neither of them anticipated.

Because the more time Kate spends with Miles, the harder it becomes to separate her fictional romance from the very real feelings developing between them.

And Miles?

He's beginning to suspect that being Kate's inspiration might not be enough.

He doesn't want to be her imaginary book boyfriend. He wants to be the real thing.

But when secrets, expectations, and unexpected emotions threaten their arrangement, Kate must decide whether she's brave enough to write herself a happily-ever-after.

Because sometimes the best love stories aren't the ones you write. They're the ones you live.

Hilarious, swoon-worthy, and deliciously steamy, Wait With Me delivers a laugh-out-loud romantic comedy filled with a quirky romance author, a rugged blue-collar hero, friends-with-benefits chemistry, secret identities, and a love story that proves inspiration can strike in the most unexpected places.
