Welcome to Kingmakers, where the children of the world's most dangerous mafia families are trained to rule. Love is a weakness. Loyalty is everything. And falling for the wrong person could cost you your life.

Kingmakers isn't an ordinary university.

There are no innocent college parties.

No carefree campus romances.

And absolutely no room for weakness.

Hidden from the outside world, this ruthless institution exists for one purpose.

To train the next generation of mafia royalty.

Within its shadowed halls, the sons and daughters of the world's most powerful criminal families learn the dangerous skills necessary to inherit their empires.

Manipulation.

Intimidation.

Strategy.

And the art of surviving in a world where betrayal can be deadly.

For Leo, entering Kingmakers was never about power.

It was about Anna.

His childhood friend.

His closest companion.

The girl who's always meant more to him than anyone else.

Their bond has survived years of friendship, shared memories, and the dangerous world surrounding their families.

But Kingmakers has a way of turning even the strongest relationships into weaknesses.

And Leo is about to discover just how quickly everything can change.

Because someone else has his sights set on Anna.

Dean Yenin is a ruthless Bratva heir with a dangerous reputation and a personal vendetta.

Cold.

Calculating.

And determined to destroy Leo.

For Dean, revenge isn't simply about defeating an enemy.

It's about taking everything that enemy loves.

And Anna is exactly where he intends to begin.

As rivalries intensify and dangerous alliances form, Leo finds himself caught in a brutal battle that threatens far more than his future at Kingmakers.

His loyalty is tested.

His relationships are pushed to their limits.

And the girl he's always believed belonged in his future begins slipping further from his reach.

In a school built on power and intimidation, love might be the most dangerous game of all.

With Dean manipulating the rules of their deadly world, Leo must learn that surviving Kingmakers requires more than courage.

It demands sacrifice.

Strategy.

And a willingness to confront the darkest sides of himself.

But how far is he willing to go for the girl he loves?

And what happens when the person threatening to take her away is willing to destroy everything standing in his path?

Because at Kingmakers, nobody plays fair.

Friendships can become rivalries.

Love can turn into obsession.

And the difference between protecting someone and losing them forever can come down to a single devastating choice.

Leo came to Kingmakers for Anna. But winning her heart might be the one battle he can't survive.

Dark, addictive, and filled with dangerous romantic tension, Kingmakers: Year One delivers a high-stakes mafia college romance featuring childhood friends, ruthless Bratva rivals, forbidden attraction, jealousy, betrayal, and a brutal university where the next generation of criminal royalty fights for love and power.
